I've been asked by Don to post this pic of Dave Ellis's own collection of knives for you to have a look at and drool over.

I should point out that none of these knives are for sale.

Enjoy . . .

I like the one in the middle on it's own . . Cool ! :D

thats just not fair. but real nice.
is that a viper 4th down frm the right?

Vipers are on the right including a recent vintage Viper 3 (maybe 6 made). The small fixed blade is one of Ernie's first (halfmoon logo),
The CQC-5 has checkered scales. The pearl one in the middle is an 001
Pink Pearl marked Emerson (halfmoon).I will try to shoot a better shot but wanted to get this out while the knives are still in stock, they seem to go too quickly, already gone are my Rogue Warrior fixed (ouch, why did I let it go!),waved CQC-8 (I know,I really am stupid),halfmoon 6,no date 7,oh well, you can't keep them all.
I do have a CQC-7 and hopefully a Trivector coming soon
Hope you all enjoyed,
Dave Ellis,ABS,M.S.

OOOOHHHHH!!!!

I wonder if this is the elusive waved 8 Snipe308 and I were trying to figure out where it's been hiding itself.

Darn I was ready to give up the right kidney for that one. :)

Hope it goes to someone who appreciates it. But if that guy decides it's not for him PLEASE LET ME KNOW :D

Ross T.

Oh yeah! Sweet collection too :)

I'm not sure but I was thinking the top left knife may be a CF-1 Vindicator with a exposed pommell.

The knife I'm wanting is the #001 Pre-tac in the middle, when Dave gets tired of it or decides to buy a new toy!

Ross, although Dave didn't mention me by name, I believe I've got the CQC8 with wave that he's kicking himself over. I still don't know who has that 4th thats out there somewhere.

Ahhhhh

So that is yours he's talking about. So the search for the elusive one still continues.

Ross T.

I appreciate all of your comments on my pieces, also thanks for the offers but currently they will remain with me.I will get some better shots of rarer, individual pieces to post, such as the 001 Pink Pearl, halfmoon that Don and many other pre-tac folks (those in the know)long for.I have not owned many of Ernie's pre-tacs but they sure are sweet.

DE:

Is it okay if I said I am truly jealous ? I congratulate you on a beautiful collection.

Ross & Sniper:

I guess I can address this to you too Snipe :)

I gotta kidney with your name written all over it :D

Ray

It's ok to say what you really want. You can say it all you want :)

Ross:

I'm happy to report that both my kidneys are working fine. Sometimes even too fine!

However, now my wife who is a dialysis nurse, who works for a couple of nephrologists said that she could certainly find a good use for that right kidney of yours. You can be expecting a call soon from your local nephrology transplant clinic. I hear that it doesn't even hurt much!

The keyboard's shorting out. They should make them drool proof, especially if you hang around this Forum. Great Collection!!

Nope....definitely a CF-5 Mirage, Snipe. Not big enough to be a CF-1 or CF-2 Vindicator.

Dave, NICE collection!! Let me know if you want to trade my CF-7 Trivector for your Mirage or Viper 3... :D

"Su-weeeeet" knives you got there Dave!

The Mirage is my favorite of the fixed blades. Very cool.

I am intreged by the third knife down on the left. Is that a bolster-less CQC6?

John

Edit: spelling

Also, is that TWO ES1-Ms you got there!?!?!?

Dave mentioned earlier that the little blade on the left is actually one of Ernie's first tactical FIXED blades. Looks like a non-folding CQC-6! The "ES1-M's" are actually 98 Commanders I think. Dave mentioned he had a few of them...
