A pleasant surprise

When I first saw the Hold Out series, I was less than enthusiastic. The handles didn't look particularly ergonomic and the knife just looked bland and unexciting to me. Then I held my new Hold Out 1.

Wow, was I wrong.

I love everything about this knife already. Smooth as glass out of box. Scary sharp serrated blade. Perfect fit and finish. Super grippy handle that, when examined up close, shows you that Cold Steel really put out all the stops to make sure the knife stays in your hand. It's lightweight and it feels like it, too! It's also much easier to take out of the pocket than I expected.

I'm blown away, and I want one in every size now! Let's drink to upnorth, who directed me to the great deal I got on this! Thanks, man!

i have a 2 version p.e., and it's a great knife. congrats, and enjoy 'er.....

I also thought I would not like them in hand, and now I own all 3. The II is one of my all time favorite EDCs and the III is a great under 3" option. The handle of the III accommodates my hand better than my delica or mini grip. You should check them out for sure.
