a poor man's kris

i saw that BM had a fancy looking kris but i bet they're all sold out. if they weren't i wouldn't have 600$ to spare anyway. does anybody know where i can find a "poor man's kris"? not junky but cheap money wise.

Well, on www.bladeauction.com there is a kris or 2 in the Balisong section, and www.balisong.com has some as well, they are around $80, but they are all FHM balisongs.

that's cool and all, and it's awesome of Benchmade to make the 49-01, but....
why can't they make a much lower quality (as in not all hollow ground, etc.) kris with the standard skeletonized handles? It'd stand out far enough from the 49-01's so that they'd still seem (and be) on top.

The "kris" balisongs at www.knifezilla.com are just flame blades they are not kris blades, plus those are only sharpened on one side. So, if you are looking for a true kris blade that is inexpensive, then the cheapest would be the FHM balisongs on BA and www.balisong.com , but if you are looking for a curved blade that is cheap, then go to www.knifezilla.com .
