A poor man's (or should I say Squid's) CQC7...

Well, it's certainly not a Custom. Hell, it's not even an Emerson - it's a Benchmade! My trusty BM 975, recently upgraded with:

micarta scales
bead blasted blade, liners, and clip
titanium bolsters

Damn, that's a good looking folder there Mister!

What's really nice is that it's the larger of the BM/Emersons. I wish EKI would do thier own version of that knife.

Great knife. :eek: From the look of things Mr. Woodward did an excellent job. Since I don't think I will be able to purchase a CQC7 anytime soon I was thinking of doing the same thing with production model. Sent email with questions...
