Yes & a little knowledge is a dangerous thing Nesk :thumbdn: ,and the sellers side of the story was posted by the seller on Tora 4 times & deleted each time as Simon as he likes to not be contradicted in his version of events, which is hardly fair when pilloring a person in public.
I agree that kukri definatly appears reground & grips look rather uncomfterable, i have a similar ww2 Indian made piece.

This is a repsonce to a thread started by Sirupate on his own forum about me and where im not allowed to post, everytime i do it gets deleted, i have tried becoming a member through four different email accounts and posted, everyone gets delted and next time i try to log in im not allowed as password/username is incorrect and directed to contact the Forum administrator, sirupate himself, so not much chance to say my view. Only one post is available of several postings so i continue my battle to restore some honor to my name here, the battle continues! Ayo gorkhali!

a different view and clarifications...please read the whole thing its rather "karmic" n also shows how Mr. Simon (Sirupate) works controlling the info that fits his opinion or where he gets support, specially in his own forum.
First off im blocked from posting on the Tora forum, everytime i do the Tora Forum Administrator delete my post/reply, contiued by closing the topic/subject making it difficult to share my opinion. I have 4 registered accounts on Tora forum and can not post through any of the accounts (Freaky, Ghettoknife, Kukhuriwalla and Gokukri), perhaps this last one will work now for sometime before u decide to block this one also which has already happened... Clearly controlling what information comes and goes....being pissed off is natural but it is neccesary to go out of the way to not let me reply?
Perhaps next time the want to insult someone it would e nice to at least give them the opportunity to defend themselves. A fair trial is a basic rule as far as i am concerned.I suggest deleting the topic or change the name as it is a personal assult “hanging” out my name, if my posts can be deleted so can the one about me started by you. Its invading my privacy as a person while also being somewhat harassing, hateful and inaccurate, all things that according to the forum rules are not allowed but its ok for big man to break ur own rules and get support from some corners while not from others it seems like.

Some of your own sales are to be mentioned aswell as the historical inaccuracy in some of your threads.
A picture will always be a picture and can never reflect the real thing, its always a suprise to actually recieve the parcel and see the real deal, often it reflects our belifes sometimes it doesn´t and we complain and deal with the situation and try to get a refund or pass it on and learn from it. Im sure that u importing kukris and selling kukris know that it is not always up to ur own standards so u got to deal with it. What kind of gurantees do u give on ur knifes? And what r the working conditions of your staff in Nepal? Thats a whole different topic..u want to destroy my reputation go ahead as u know for every action there is a reaction.
U r both a collector, enthusiat and at the end of the day a bussinessman who makes a living on selling kukris and other knives aswell as ur martial arts training. Me being a collector who is selling off his collection seem to be a minor threat, i have a regular job that fills most of my time. I guess i must have really pissed u off with that kukri, it was never my intention to sell u a faulty kukri but i can with a clear conscience say i didn´t rob you. I paid 265 GBP for it myself when i got it and have been offered more then 350 GBP for it since I had it though I didn´t sell it then as it fascinated me.
What i wrote about it in several emails and all the pics i sent you still reflect the real thing that u got. Reading some of your sales on ebay u do the same thing which i´ll give example of shortly.
GOOD is a relative term and we all have our ideas about what is good, i have seen mk1´s and other kukris both better and worse then that one and i would till this day say that the kukri u got was in good condition, not GREAT condition nor VERY GOOD condition! If u had looked better at the pics u were sent perhaps u would have seen what to expect better instead of letting ur imagination run amock and building up fantasies in yourself and the public mind. I told you clearly and honestly about the kukri, how it was and such, any knife more then a 100 years old i do not expect to be in top notch condition, if they are its a blessing.
For future and to keep ur mind at ease please read the text carefully and look at the pictures with time then to begin to throw shit around you polluting the enviroment.
As u can read from the text the scabbard was not said to made for the kukri just that the numbers matched which u were the first one among several other speculants and professionals to say they didn´t...i was suprised myself to hear about ur findings somedays after u received it and do not know what to say in this matter, its rather strange that it changes numbers after it reaches u.
It belonged to a famous knife collector before me who i have high regard of a deep respect, when i got it from him he told me the numbers were matching and for the almost 2 years i had it they were matching, friends, family, antique dealers, fellow collectors and proffesionals saw it in awe and no one ever poited this out, only u! So the number on the kukri and the scabbard were matching but of course i have booked a time to the optician to check my eyes, ill tell the people i know to do the same. If it is so that the numbers have changed perhaps u have a hand in it also...i know u were a little upset with me from before, i guess this added to the fuel.
If u for even a split second thought i tried to decieve u, u r very wrong, being kind at heart though im furious at you for what u have done, perhaps we made some wrongs both of us but maybe thats to much for a Big bussinessman and reputable seller as u to admit, sure i can say that i should have been more careful with u as u also seem to have steared up some waves in the kukri ocean...i shall be clearer in the future!
The crack in the handle was not there when i sent it to you, if it got mismanaged during its course to you im very sorry, so i learnt to pack future things up better and be more careful who i choose to sell to and give clearer information, u being unhappy with the knife could have done anything to alter its state so that u would get a refund, i do not know u but should have listened to the voices in the kukri wilderness warning me about selling to you more, which i do now.
U didn´t hear from me cuz just after the new year, just as i sold the kukri to you i moved houses and was without internet for some days and all things in boxes, im not on the net all the time unlike some others, later to find out that a very close loved family member was in great need to have me close, far away, to see me and i them, so i left the cold north for the sun in the south and being without internet for almost a month was one of the greatest things i have done this year though i pissed u off.
Perhaps ignorance is bliss and paranoia real awareness... [8(]

its a nice text but it seems u forgot to mention that the buttplate was missing and not original scabbard of the kukri, u should know that much about the kukri...sold to a american collector of swords n american militaria mainly though he has some kukris.

i think u remember this one too...i sold this one to you some time ago.Very good condition...how about the cracks in the handle there which seems to not have been mentioned, if it belonged to a gurkha or not we do not know, the symbols are of a religious nature on the blade.
What return policy do you have?
I either case your buyers didn´t complain perhaps they do not know as much about kukris as u do...but i have also questioned how much u do know lately reading some of your posts on various forums.
so clarity seems not to be only a problem for me but for you also and we both choose our words carefully as we make a sale. I get smacked, i smack back, next time lets just smack ourselfs or pat each other on the shoulder n say we were young n stupid, it was a great experience and now i know not to sell to some who so often come with some complain and like to make up ur own way and go out of the way to destroy my reputation, so im closed off from the discussion about my name so, i close u of from future sales simple. How about instead personaly visit the people who sell newly made original broad arrow kukris from the UK really ripping people of instead of personaly harassing me.
