A good look into Bowie knives

I right away noticed the Cold Steel 1917 Frontier Bowie he used at the start. They are surely big ole knives!

Here's one of a few 1917 Frontier Bowie knives that I have in my collection. It's the only one I modified by removing the bluing from it's blade and giving it a brushed satin look...

When demonstrating the cutting difference between the main edge and the back cut edge, he does not cut the balloon, he stabs it with the point. He could have done the same thing with the main cutting edge, use the point and had the same results. John
