A Problem I face each day

Am I the only one here who has trouble on deciding which Emerson to clip to the uniform each day? It's becoming a real pain in the ass. Will I take the Commander, or the Specwar, or the Raven, or the CQC7, or the SOCFK etc, etc.

Right now I seem to be carrying the spear point SOCFK alot, it's a great knife and dare I say I prefer it over the Commander.

What is your current prefered Emerson?

Cheers

Peter

Hey Peter

You got more than one pocket, don't you?

I'm carrying a Commander in the right pocket and a waved 7 in the left. Yeah, the 7 on the left doesn't work with the wave but I like it there.

Ross, yes I have more than one pocket. But I have so much crap hanging on my belt I got to be careful my pants don't fall down.

The knife on my primary side is a Commander and the knife on my support side is a SARK. I also carry a JSP wallet/Creditcard knife, a La Griffe around my neck and a Leatherman Crunch on my belt.

Jesus, no wonder I have so many problems at Airports!!

I carry my SOCFK all the time even though I have 2 Commanders. However I will consider changing when I get my Bolstered Commander from the Emerson C/P Shop

Around the house you can find me with the butter knife sunk to the hilt in the peanut butter jar.

If I remember to pick it up before a stumble out the front door I have my SOCFK, waved seven or M2 AFCK with me during the day.

Peter,
Here's how I deal with the dilema. For daily street carry I use a Green-T Tanto SOCFK. When I get to work, I put the SOCFK in the tool box and clip on a self-waved CQC7B. When I get home, I put the SOCFK in my Bladeforums knife case and out comes another self-waved CQC7B. For dressier occasions, out comes a different Green-T Tanto SOCFK[hardly carried, still looks new], and for suit and tie events, out comes a Black-T Spearpoint SOCFK. So, ya see, none of my knives get ignored.

So far, I have four knives that I rotate every couple of days. Today, I have my MOD Trident on. The past few days before that, I was carrying my green-T custom SOCFK. I'll switch to the black-T Commander probably on Monday. And, I always keep a mini UDT in my coat.

I know how you feel Peter. I just got a CQC6 so I am carrying it more than the others. Usually I am torn between which knife to carry. Lately I have been alternating between my new 6, one of 2 Commanders (ones a 98 plainedge and the other is a 2000 part serrated), Mini 7 that I put a wave on, Terzoula Mk1, Spyderco Military, and several other customs and productions. I just got really into Emersons so I am sure my collection of those will grow.

Its an Emerson thing. You wouldn't understand.

We prosecute all our own cases in court and therefore have to pass through metal detectors on the way in. I usually strip off all my tools, knives tec and leave them in the car but one day I forgot. Needless to say yje metal detector went off like it was christmas and the court security guys came a running. First I took of my multi tool, then a SOCFK - that got them aroused, then I whipped out the Commander and they started looking concerned.

Anyway they booked them all into storage and I got them on the way out. There seems to be a phobia about knives in this country. A cop can carry a gun and no one thinks about it at all. But a Cop with a knife! What's he got a knife for! Mindless Sheep Mentality.

Cheers
