Any commercial production makers do a back pocket pattern?

Specifically I'd like micarta or similar (ebony or other wood is fine) smooth scales with a lanyard hole.

I know several custom guys make amazing ones, but custom is just not in my budget right now. Budget being say ~$100

Sounds like the perfect solution for you is the case back pocket in ebony.

Lemme tell you, my ebony Backpocket is still surprising the heck out of me. One of the best folders I've gotten in a long time. Great for use, just right for my paws.

Another vote for the Case Backpocket. In ebony, of course. I've been carrying mine every day since I got it, and I am really enjoying it. The thing cuts like a champion. As a carpet designer, I have occasion to cut a lot of carpet, and that Backpocket just sails through carpet and heavy backing like magic. It holds an edge well too. The ebony is gorgeous. And I have discovered that the blade profile is perfect for food prep. At first I didn't like the fact that the tip is turned up so much, making the knife less "pointy". And then I realized, the knife is not for stabbing or sticking stuff, it is made for cutting. And cut it does. It is fantastic for cutting meat.

It's funny I never came across this one before. So many knives, easy to miss one.

By the time the holidays are all paid off, maybe the CV version will be out too :-).

It is easy to miss new stuff. I'm holding out for a CV one as well.
