I wanted to share this with the forum and to say a public "Thank You" to David Martin. David read my thread about wanting to collect Bucks with the Idaho date stamp and was kind and generous enough to make me a gift of this beautiful 112! What a great addition to the collection that I'm just beginning to aquire.

David, thank you so much for the wonderful gift and the thought behind it.

Click on the "New Thread" button. It's located on the left side, above the "Announcements" and just below "Buck Knives for Sale".

Thanks, it's a very nice knife and a terrific gift.

One good guy gifting a Buck knife to another good guy.
It happens a lot in here. I think it says something about the quality of the crew.
Very nice gesture David.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

A question about these Idaho stamped knives . (I hope its ok to ask it here) Does anyone have one that has the stamp on the right side ? Most of the symbol stamps are on the right and I noticed these are lefties . DM

I believe all the Idaho stamps I have seen are lefties.

Very nice 112

Nice work DM! Dave is a special guy and very deserving of that thoughtful gift.

I had not noticed that DM. All of the 05 Idaho stamped knives do have the stamp to the right of the Buck stamp. I say to the right of the Buck stamp due to the Dorado as the photo below shows.

Hi Sky,

Nope Buck did not make the scales, the knife came with black wood scales and I thought a new pair of shoes would make that little knife shine. A fellow who used to be a forum member here makes them and sells them for a great price. The fellow goes by the handle "Muskrat Man" and can be found if you do a web search for him. He also does custom work on knives.
