I was fortunate enough to be the 2nd place winner of Mike Robuck's GAW. The prize was his new book "Gun Trader's Guide to Collectible Knives".
What a great book. If you like lots of color pictures of really nice bone handled knives, you have to buy this book. There's also plenty of text covering history, jigging, Rogers bone, Sheffield, Solingen, custom makers and more. Just received it today and looking forward to a good read.

Thank you very much for the book Mike.

Great gift Bruno...and a great GAW from the man with some of the best Avatars ever;):D

I have a copy and it is a must have for the serious knife collector. I know I'll enjoy this book for years to come.
Everything about the book is great, good text, nice photo's, just wonderful.
Thanks Mike -

What a great Book to receive from Mike himself - Wow, I hope Mike signed it for you - that would be awesome!
Good on you Mike!

Great stuff :) I bought a copy last weekend, and am really looking forward to reading it once I finish the two other great books I have on the go at the moment (one being the GEC book). My self-discipline crumbled enough for me to sneak a few peeks at the heavenly photographs, and even the dedication and intro are a great read! :D Well done Mike, and all the other contributors. Enjoy the read Bruno

Great pic Al :)

I received a copy two days ago and my favorite sections were the ones on bone jigging and one on Todd Davison knives. Just great stuff! The pictures also gave me ideas for new knives to build. Thanks Mike!

I just got mine in the mail, and the photos are fantastic! I haven't had a chance to read it yet but am looking forward to it. Thanks for your effort Mike!

I still have to figure out how to get one here, but I will hunt for one as well, both for its content, and for the fact it's written by a member of this subforum :)
Congrats to both!

Thanks Bruno and thanks everyone for the nice comments! I'm lucky to have some very knowledgeable knife friends who have some great collections and the willingness to share on both levels!
