A puzzle for the knife gurus

I've had a remarkably hard time finding a knife with what I consider to be a perfect confluence of parameters.

These parameters:
<$75
<3oz
2.5-3.25 inch blade
framelock OR stainless steel scales such that the side clipped tightly to the pocket is smooth
tip up carry
somewhat deep carry clip (mods acceptable if they are readily available.)

The closest I have found is the small buck vantage or kershaw leek. The vantage technically doesnt have a smooth metal side facing the outside of the pocket but it is smooth enough to not rough up pants or get caught.

Any ideas?

Kind of hard to firm up recommendations without a price range, but off the top of my head I'd say Spyderco Sage 1 or 2. Can't really go wrong with either of those

Sounds like the Kershaw Amplitude would be perfect for what you seek. It is not out yet, but it fulfills all your requirements. Just wait till they come in stock somewhere.

Kershaw CQC-1k? I prefer the 6/7K, but they're over your weight limit. A steel framelock is hard to find under 3 oz. The leek is also a good candidate, as you mentioned. It was my first non-multitool EDC and I'm still rather fond of it, though the bead blasted handles rust on me every time I touch them.

Cryo is super heavy. Amplitude and cqc1k both look great! Thanks a lot for the suggestions and if anyone else has some keep em coming!

WOW that small skorpion looks like some serious quality for only $65! It even has a hole instead of a stud, which i didn't mention as a requirement, but is something I really like. Thanks a lot for posting that!

Damn, bladeforums gurus really know their knives.

Why has nobody recommended a manix?

It has pretty grippy g10 but, who cares if your pockets get torn up, people spend big dollars on ripped up jeans when you can do it for free:D
All joking aside, every pair of jeans I own has a torn up right pocket from carrying a knife everyday for years. It doesn't matter what knife I carry, it's the fact that I draw the knife in and out of my pocket many times a day that causes the fibers to fray and look "ripped".

And on a side note, why do so many people care about fraying their jeans from a knife, but have no problem wearing the same jeans to work. I could understand if they were "designer jeans" but then I'd laugh at you for wearing overpriced jeans.

Edit:
Oh S**t, the manix has g10 handles w/ steel liners....whatever, I'm still gonna recomend it:)

The Zancudo is pretty close. Its 0.1 ounce over your weight, but you will never notice that small amount over 3 oz

Overall Length: 7.00" Blade Length: 2.94" Cutting Edge: 2.75" Blade Thickness: 0.09" Blade Material: AUS-8

Kershaw Zing SS is little over you weight requirement at 3.3oz, but if you want to go to the lower end of the price scale its a good value.
