I know nothing about knifemaking or anything like that, but I am trying to find out something about a knife I have. The blade is 3 7/8" long. The knife is 7 34" overall. There is a manufacturer's stamp on the base of the blade. It has a picture of a bird and the words Towika or Gowika or something similar and then Republic of Ireland. There is a serial number on the other side. The blade about 1/2" wide from back to edge, goes through the handle and is pinned at the end.
The handle is meant to look like antler, I believe, and is comfortable to hold. The piece between the handle and the guard is angled so it would fit the right hand more than the left. The guard and butt piece are aluminum or look like it.
I know this is a long shot, but any help would be appreciated.
