A question about blade coat?

Hi
There are some types of black coat for
blade, can any one tell me if there
is any kind of coating that are not
safe to cut food? (harmful to man's health)

I don't think so, as long as the coating stays on the knife. ie don't eat stuff with black chips of coating in it.
 
You'll be fine. Black teflon in such small doses won't hurt you. Or Black Titanium coats. They generally don't scratch off into your food in large amounts.
