A question about Busse Knife Models

From what I can tell from alot of posts, Busse/Swamp Rat/Scrap yard have limited runs of special knife types. I see Ratweiler, RatMastiff, rattlehawk etc described in many threads. Am I correct that Busse makes limited production runs of these and other models?

My main question that I want to learn is: What are there staple knives that they make all of the time?

Well im new to busse/kin but it seems they dont make a certain knife ALL THE TIME, from what i can tell they make runs of certain knife types for a while and then switch the line up. you have to check each individual website for the actual currently in production knives. im sure more seasoned bussekin members will be along to help more if needed.

Pretty much runs. Normally when they end a run, you might not ever see that specific design again. They occasionally pop up at shows etc.

Normally if you see a re-release, it will not be the same version. It will be fatter, or skinnier, or longer or shorter or a different finish.

So the Rodent 3,4,6 and 9 are a production run and can be pulled from their store at any time?

Yes, exactly. Some designs will stay around longer than others but eventually they will all be pulled and replaced with something else. In the time I have been playing with Busse brands I think just now is the MOST blades I have seen offered at one time as you have the TGLB, AA and AMS from Busse, Scrapivore,3 4 5 7 and 911 from Scrapyard, RS RMD and R3, R4, R6 and R9 = The Hawks from The Swamp.

RMD is the longest offered model at the moment, and probably ever. Been at the Swamp for around 2 years now (well, Swamp site was not working the whole time)
