A question about Crucible CPM steels

I was looking over their site today, learning about their steels. I was really surprised to learn how much chromium they put in D2.

My question is this. They describe S30V as the best of the breed in terms of the compromises for knife blade use. Yet the S60V and S90V have significantly more carbon with a similar amount of chromium. I would assume they would heat treat to a harder state (too hard, perhaps, for sporting knives?) What seems to be reduced in these alloys is the amount of moly. What does the reduction in moly do to these alloys that make them less than the best of the breed?

S30V is the best of the breed because it has good wear resistance and is still VERY tough for a stainless steel. S60V and S90V have incredible wear resistance but are brittle. supposedly S30V is best with a fine edge, toothy edges don't seem to perform as well but

Will add to madfast's post: S30V is cutlery specific steel and S60V and S90V are made for manufacturing "i think" All this is from their website.
www.crucibleservice.com/ *edit for wrong web listing, sorry if anyone tried the wrong one.
