A question about DCBB

Does anyone know for certain if Busse can apply a satin finish to a double cutt blade?

i don't see why not.

you want a knife currently dc to be refinished satin? should be easy enough.

The DCBB blades are very finished compared to the cg blades, it should not be a chore for the Custom Shop.

I was under the impression that DC was applied over a satin finish...? Maybe not quite the 'satin' of a satin finished knife, but close. I may be wrong here... Call Busse & ask, but I'm fairly certain that they can satin finish a DC blade pretty easily.

The bead blasted surface would have to be just shy of satin before going into a cabinet. I have yet to see a DCBB Busse with any visual defects so a bead blast would only be taken down a minimal amount to get it smooth again IMHO
