Does anyone know off the top of their heads what years this type of sheath was standard for Buck folders? I have several if them empty and I also have quite a few folders not in sheaths. I'd like to match the proper year sheath with some of the knives.

I know in my town that you could get them like that in 1995,with the old script "BUCK"Lettering, and 96,97,98 the other style lettering with the mountain top stamps, after that they went back to the squared style sheaths,at least in the stores here that was all you could get.

Plumber, I'm not sure on the left and middle ones . But the right one I've seen in the early 90's . The one I have has a 531 / in it (93) . Which was purchased new from Smokey Mountain on close out special in 94 . Not much but thats the only one I'm sure about . DM

Dave, I bought a couple of sheaths (111 sheath) like the one I showed with a 112 in it in another thread. Could be by accident or the guy didn't have two but I got one like the one on the left and would now like to find out what year we are looking at. Both sheaths are brand new and they were only $10 each.

I have a 1991 110, Model#11100, Cat. # 1702, which includes the words "FOLDOVER SH" on the brown box label, and came with the black sheath on the left. I know it's not much, but maybe a piece here, a piece there...

Cannot figure where he found a new sheath like that but I really don't care because I have it now.

Well,,,, I have this clammie that I have never deflowered, and it has one in it like the one on the right. Sadly, the clammie has no external dates and I have thought it cool to keep it as is.

On the cardboard it talks about Edge2000, no cat numbers, just a bar code. And no way to tell if the sheath was new or old stock. And sheath has the brass snap, Yours looks silver.
