A question about the Machax sheath

Since the blade on the Machax is about the same size as the blade on the BK9, will the BK9 fit in the new sheath that comes with the Machax? I think the Machax sheath looks like a nicer sheath (dangler, molle).

If the BK9 fits the Machax sheath, will the sheath be available to purchase by its self from Kabar? Or will I have to keep my eyes open for when people start selling off their unused factory sheaths as they upgrade to leather or kydex? I know that I could just upgrade my BK9 to leather or kydex, but I'm thinking a Machax sheath might be a little bit cheaper upgrade over the factory BK9 sheath.

completely interchangeable and either fits either. go nuts.
 
Yep, they both work in whichever. That was something I confirmed shortly after the Machax arrived today.

And yes, the BK4 sheath > BK9 sheath.
 
dude I predict that a month from now you will easily find someone to give you a sheath
 
give? no, that would be very generous.

the current sheath is as good in build as the tweener sheaths.

it's a GOOD sheath for the money (ie: free). charge $20-25 shipped :>
