A question about the new Team Gemini

Does anybody know how they made the new run of Team Geminis 1/3 lighter? I'm just curious being that the knife is the same length and thickness by all the information I've seen on the original. I'm figuring it's probably lightening holes in the grip, but that makes me wonder how the knife will balance out. What do you all figure?

Just by changing the grind type and taking a little meat out underneath the scales makes a big difference.

Just to make sure you didn't misunderstand, it's over 1/3 lb. lighter, not 1/3 lighter.
