Hi Guys!
So I'm looking at a Mnandi from a source I'm not yet sure of...
The knife has a certificate showing a date of 11/27/2013
It has Snakewood inlays, and S35VN steel.
I know that Snakewood fits that timeline...
But were they using that steel back then?
Thanks!

Yes they were. My oldest s35vn is a Neil Roberts warrior from 2011 and I also have Sebenzas from 2012 in s35vn.

Thanks for the info...
Now it comes down to seeing what happens next...

Just be careful and look at the details of the knife. I feel like I have seen fake snakewood Mnandi around. Post pictures here if you can.

Here are some pics...

I spoke to Jennifer at CRK, and she confirmed the details I gave her.
She also said that the markings looked legit.
But she couldn't confirm authenticity; without having it in her hands.
(That seems pretty understandable)

 if I bid an an obscene amount of money on it: I'd probably be taught a bunch of new obscene words from the Missus.

Sigh...
Outbid.
I went up to, and beyond my max...
No luck.
So I went to Plan B, and ordered a left-hand "Bogger" directly from the Mother Ship.
Now I have 16 Months to figure out the money...

At least when I get this one: it'll have that "new knife" smell! 😁

This one got bid up to beyond the cost of a new one...
That left me with only one possible avenue of escape: order the new knife!
