There are no plans that I know of, but I'm not a member of the R&D team. At any one time we have a huge amount of products in different stages of development.

Honestly, I'm surprised they don't already. Folding karambits seem to sell really well, they are constantly selling out at places like BladeHQ and Knifecenter, even the $150+ ones like Emerson and Fox. Plus they are generally considered more of a tactical/self defense knife than a utility knife, which is a niche that CS really markets themselves towards as well. I would bet money that a $50-80 folding karambit with CS's level of quality would sell like hotcakes. Not only are karambits pretty popular in general right now, there's basically nothing in that price range either, you either spend $15 on junky Tac-Force/S&W/United Cutlery stuff, or jump up to $150 for Emerson/Fox. Okay, there's the 5.11 CUB Master at $100, but even with that, in the $50-80 range CS wouldn't even have any competitors!

Im not gonna lie, if cold steel made a folding karambit ill probably buy one for everyone I know who works in security, military, etc. And if it had a wave plate plus the triad lock it'll be that much more loved! I currently edc a spyderco pkal but I really miss having a cold steel in my pocket. But at the same time I need something that can deploy very quick. ( sorry but everything that waves by pulling the knife away from where the threat is, is too slow)
