if an order gets lost in the mail and you have to resend the order what happens.I recently ordered some DVD's from 2 diffrent companys this month and I think theres a crook at the post office cause I didnt recieve either one of the packages and the companys had to resend them (its been 15 days on one of the orders). I was wondering if theres some sort of insurence that you use or if it's just a loss and you get nailed for it. Just curious ..............

They won't be declared missing for another 15 days. Be patient. They may yet turn up.
This just happened to me, it took 6 weeks to recieve a package through the USPS.
After the 30 day period you can ask the seller to file a claim for the missing goods.

If things work the same in the US as they do in Canada then all packages are insured up to $100.00 and you can purchase insurance for whateveer the value is over that amount. The cost of this insurance is generally included in what the seller charges for shipping.

In the US you have to purchase Insurance separately. I just mailed an insured package the other day.
