I've owned 9 or 10 different Spyderco patterns since I got into this crazy hobby and I've found the ergonomics of the Resilience are best for my massive claws. Also, the quality-to-price ratio is absolutely bonkers! My question; is there a variant with upgraded steel in the pipeline? I know about the S35VN lightweight (I've got the G10 8Cr13MoV one) but I remember seeing something about a titanium framelock Tenacious with D2 steel. Will it's biggest brother receive a similar treatment at some point?

Hi El Gigantor,

I'm glad you are enjoying the Resilience model. The Tenacious was the first of the Tenacious family. So, it will also lead the models in updates and upgrades. If the changes made to the Tenacious are well received, then more than likely, you will see those changes to the other models in the family.

Thanks for the reply Sal. Have a great weekend sir!

I've been away for awhile, what's the major difference between the Resilience and the Tenacious? I already have the Tenacious.
