A local gun store offered me a good deal on some Squirts, so I bought them. I kept one for myself and gave the rest out as gifts.

I like mine, it's well built and just cute, for lack of a better word. But tools-wise it's more or less a like a keychain SAK with pliers, and I keep thinking that I get better scissors and blades with something like a Vic Executive or Wenger Pocket Tool Chest.

How useful are pliers this small? What have you used yours for?

I've used mine quite a bit including using the pliers to cut small electrical wires and tighten nuts and bolts. They have worked great and held up well beyond expectations.

I have the P4 and you would be surprised what you use them they are the best edc keychain knives by far me and my dad bought ours at the same time and have been carrying them since 2006 and never had a problem with the pliers I carry mine everyday and i suggest you do too.

I'm giving it a try, so far it's working well. I don't expect to put it through very hard use because my SwissTool or Super Tool 300 are always close by.

I love my Squirt. Just last week at work I was taking down some cord that was stapled into the wall and I used the pliers to yank out the big staples. Worked awesome, I probably use the pliers the most out of all of the tools on the little thing.

They come in handy with small tasks. I especially like that they are spring loaded. I have not had the pliers break but I did have a stubborn pair that (twice) snapped the spring on the scissors. Sent it back to Leatherman and they replaced the scissor spring.
