Here's something I would like to see:
As much as I love traditionals like the stockman, trapper, congress, and jack-knife, I always end up with a Victorinox SAK in my pocket.
When it comes to slip-joints, the SAK is just more verstile and offers greater utility.
Now, there are other makers who offer the typical "camping" style knife (main blade, can opener, bottle opener/screwdriver, and awl), but that is'nt what I'm looking for.
And I don't think Boker should try to compete with Victorinox and Wenger when it comes to the huge variety of multi-tool slip-joints.
But certain combos would be very handy without getting too "multi-tool or gadgety".
Keep it simple and don't try to offer every tool in the box--just a few handy ones:
Awl
Woodsaw
standard screwdriver
Electrician's blade (long blade with a flat screwdriver tip)
Just think about this one:
A two-blade Barlow with wood or bone scales, maybe titanium bolsters,
One blade maybe a spear-tip or sheepsfoot, the other blade a screwdriver/bottle-opener.
Maybe call it "The Longshoreman".
Thanks for listening,
Allen.
