I was given a spyderco knife to sharpen that has these charactoristics.
all metal construction, plain edge, Delica size. The clip is stamped out of the right sideplate.

I was curious as to the age and model of it.

Cheers,

This sounds like the stainless steel handled Standard C05. Can anyone confirm? What about a photo? Or must I post one (as these are quite common to acquire, I have three)?

Heyns is correct, it is an older specimen of the C05 Standard.

Thanks for the reply. I was just curious not having seen one with a pocket clip stamped out of the sideplate with no screws.

Ts - Spyderco has done a lot of "strange" things. We are always pushing the envelope.

Sal,

Strange is good. Conformity is for sheep.

I might not like everything I see but I can appreciate a twisted mind at work.
