A question on *glass* beadblasting....

Is it possible to achieve a dark grey (like in picture) bead blasted efect on
on hardened aluminium handles?

due to some inlays in the handles in question, using aluminium oxide blasting isn't an option.

anyone know?

I think I would mask off the inlays, but sure.

finger nail polish mask or tape,blast away with fine grit silicon carbide.less than 10 pounds pressure should do it.
