A Question On The Elusive Folder

Sorry people but I have been waiting nearly two years so please allow me one simple question.

Does anyone know whether the basic, and final design for the folder has been determined?

I am not asking about various options and configurations, the date for the start of production, how many units may already be in inventory, pricing, or possible announcement dates.

Truth is welcome. Humor is acceptible. "In about two weeks" is lame and worn out.

I seek even the faintest glimmer of hope or the smallest drop of encouragement in return for my discipline and for my loyalty in foregoing purchasing Brand X.
 
From what I've heard and seen recently(at Blade), yes on the basic, no on the final.

No scoop on the debut. :(

If you're REALLY burning for folding INFI, (it's so easy, duh....)
Get a hold of a shaker or 4" PBF or skeleton, or whatever is keeping your boat afloat, and have someone like Matt Cucchiara put a handle on it. (he does framelocks for Emersons)
What the problem here, people?!?!?!?
Of course it will probably cost you like $400-500, but that's what you would pay anyway.

Hanover I feel your pain. We have been waiting for a very long time. An honest update would be nice.
The Striders are looking very nice and avialable.
I have looked at the Swamp Rat folders, but its not Infi and I have had nothing but great experiances with Infi and modified Infi.
 
I figure it can't be too very long. I really doubt that Jerry invested all that money in new machines just to produce the Rat folder. That was the most exciting news to me cause new equipment just sitting there gets real expensive real quick.

I did not mean to offend anyone with my reply. I thought your answer meant that the basic model has been done. They are still working on the final version and their is no word on when it will be available.
I was hoping for a release date from someone from the factory. If you work for Busse I apologize. I don't get to these forums very much any more. Usually only to quickly browse through the Busse forum and see if their is any word on the folder.
 
Tell you what, I wouldn't wait for the folder. It's been going on too long! Better to have any folder in your pocket than a Busse folder on your mind! ;) :p
 
Sure, Jan, go ahead and spend all your money on another brand.

Just means that when they get offered, on less person in front of me...LOL

Even better: I'll continue carrying my AS and Euro Combat 4 and when you come along with your folder, I'll chop it in half, lol!! Hehehe

Whatever Jan, you'll get the Busse folder, tune it up, sell it to me and then go buy a $4000 bike :p
 
That's right Jack,
the check for the new bike went in the mail today. No new knives for a looooooooooooong time. However, one of the finest road bikes out there. Gotta set priorities! :cool:
