A Question re: Bowie Sheaths

The metal stud found on many knife sheaths is to help the sheath stay behind the belt. What is it called. I want to call it a "frog" but I believe that's incorrect.

Hey Guys...

The "Frog" is the holder that the sheath rides in, and goes on the belt..
Not sure what the stud is called..

"Stud" seems to work fine. In context, I'm sure everyone would know what you are talking about.

If I had such a sheath, I'd call it a "Larry".....but "STUD" will work nicely!!

I usually call it a frog stud, whether it comes with a frog or not.
