This is one very impressive knife, I'm not sure why it doesn't seem to get much attention. I just picked this up from a private collector in Texas, and I'm glad I did.
This knife has a good 'old fashioned' straight clip point of 440C steel about 3.75" long (and for all those who don't think highly of 440C done right, I invite you to try out my old Entrek or Beretta knives in that steel), lightweight, grippy G10 handle. This handle is what Cold Steel's Recon line should've been, grippy but not destructive to ones' trousers. Handle is extremely ergonomic, lighter and better than my excellent Endura I just sold, and better than my SOG Spec Elite I have for sale.Real, functional jimping both on top and bottom. This knife won't open as smoothly as the SOG Arc lock, but it does feature an interesting button or plunge style lock. I like it. Open pillar construction, black pocket clip, knife sits pretty low in the pocket which I like, but still protrudes enough to get a quick grip on it upon deploying. I don't see any full liners in the handle but I am not experiencing any kind of flexing whatsoever. I can't yet comment on the edge or edge holding of this model, but my initial use on soft material was as though the material was invisible. The pic is generic, not my actual knife. So far it appears a sleeper to me.
