A quick hello

Joined the forum today, just wanted to say 'hi' to everyone. I'm new at this, been making knives for only a couple months now, I've made 6 or 7. My main interest is in 'working' knives, you know, hunting and camp style knives that will be used in the field. Use to own a dozen Randall's years ago, but sold them (got married). Recently retired for good, I'm hoping I may get good enough at this to sell some at craft/gun shows and the like. I have an extensive wood shop, but when it comes to metal working, I don't have many tools but do have a couple of good ones - a Tormek mini mill and a Jet 2 x 42 belt sander. I'll be picking your brains, and always welcome constructive criticism on my posts. I'm Mike, btw.
 
Welcome to the forum Mike. Share some pictures of your creations. You will find some very knowledgeable people around here that will be able to help you along. Good luck with your knife making
 
We're glad you are here. We have some special sub-forums here that are specifically designed for the craftsman, woodworker (scales) and metal-workers. But we like to talk to you here also. I'm just a "user."
