It has been a while gents - I thought I would post a small project I finished lately. A horizontal carry Leatherman case that was designed to deploy a flashlight quickly. The case is made from two layers of 4 ounce Wicket and Craig veg tanned russet, welt added, and sewn on a Cobra 4.

The customer seemed happy. It was a fun challenge that had me reviewing Paul's Case Making Video.

Jason, that's just as cute as it can be. It might even be just precious!

Seriously, great looking work. Finish work is way up there!~

Great little sheath. Real nice quality/construction.

I take it you went over the lighter colored W&C russet veg tan with a brown stain ?

I really like combo sheaths , you have also used my favorite flashlight ( Gary Graley gifted me one quite awhile ago and I have just replaced it with the same model after it finally died from hard work and a very hard life ) , I also carry a Leatherman Surge everyday at work so this sheath ticks all the boxes for me .
Super cool .

High Standard:

No sir - but I did use quite a few coats of Oubenuf's leather oil to soften up what turned out to be some rigid leather. Darkened it some - but turned out super supple and a good fit. Again - Paul's video's really gave me the confidence to complete this correctly the first time.

Harrokek:

Thanks for your kind words. I tell you what G2 has inspired some of my work as well. Always so clean and well executed.
