hi folks,
I am no longer the moderator for this forum. Or any other for that matter.

I appreciate the trust and respect shown me by Bladeforums, its highly competent moderators, and its owner @Spark.

This decision wasn't a quick one, it's something I thought about for a long time, and I'm satisfied it's the correct path to take.

haha, actually yes but not in a fun, biking around kind of way. Hernia really takes the fun out of riding these days, so all I do is work. I'm concentrated right now on apocalypse proofing the bike shop. It's kind of fun, in an interpretive, exhausting and pain inducing way- not far off from mountain biking, come to think of it.

I have mucho responsibilities and zero time for f-ing around. Notice my banner- more energy going into that, too. Currently working on a food preparation oriented design, (for an above average knife company) and have a number of knives in the works on my bench, and finally a workshop to finish them in. Getting some leather work experience lately, learning a lot.

I'll be upping my game in all the places where it'll pay off, no more being a lazy asshole. I'm turning the hustle up to 11.

For those spare moments when I can spend some time in here, I'll now be able to do that like a normal person. Normal for me, anyway.

I wish you the best of luck in your new direction my friend. You handled this place well, IMO, in your term as mod.

oh you, ya bastard!

man, it is a whole different experience in here now. After 4(?) years of having to notice shit I'd have to take care of, now I just smile when I see something that doesn't belong, and just revel in the chaos that is life.
 
So.... 'Who's on First'?

Thank you Lorien. Being a moderator is a tough, thankless job. I've always enjoyed your posts and your sense of fairness.
 
I really liked you as a moderator. You’re direct. I wish more people were direct. I know it doesn’t please everyone, but if you have a healthy ego a direct approach is always more sincere and helpful in the long run.
