A quick question about inlays

Hi, all.

Nowadays, Sebbies with those beautiful beads inlays attract me a lot. Do you know how (I mean, in what manner) the beads are inlayed? I'm a little bit worried about its integrity with the titanium body. Are those beads are applied with some sorts of glues? I know that as long as it is a CRK, I don't have to worry about its quality and their services. But, still it makes me wonder how those beads are applied.

Thank you for your feedbacks in advance.

Best,

I have one more quick question. Some beads look to be quite raised around the hole but I found that some beads are quite below the hole. How come this is possible?

While I'm not sure what you mean with "beads" you may find the answer on the CRK homepage.
hope this helps.

PS: The wooden inlays are fastened with a double sided tape.

Thanks for the reply redmag.
By beads, I meant those stones that are placed in the hole. I guess they cannot be applied with those tapes or glues, can they?
I couldn't find any related answer at their homepage either.

I see. Yes I', interested in that too.
I always wondered how the coins are hold in place. I didn't find a picture of the inside of one yet.

There was a post from Anne at CRK about 10 yrs ago on another forum that stated the locating hole was enlarged and both the stones and coins were epoxied on. Hope this helps.
