A quick question : Ordering direct from Randall Knives..

Dear Randall Collectors,

Firstly, greetings from Malaysia. I would like to know more about ordering direct from Randall. Says on the order form that it will take at least 46 months to deliver a knife. I am very keen on purchasing a non-catalog item listed as :

0-P #10-3” Salt Fisherman
3” drop point of 1/8” stainless. Thumb notches. Fully hand ground. Contoured 3” black micarta handle. Wrist thong. Also available with maroon micarta or rosewood. Supplied with cover sheath. (Wt. 3 oz.)
Price: $160

Has anyone ordered this particular knife before. Appreciate the feedback. Thank you.

While I have not ordered this knife, I have looked at ordering a model 10 several times. The standard catalog version is only a 12 week wait as opposed to 46 months (per the Randall online catalog). A non catalog version may have a longer wait., I would email to check. It looks like a nice knife and the short wait time and lower cost make it very tempting. I have held off on it, as I really want a Model 15 and think I would disapointed if I bought another knife just to have a Randall.

Hi Patrick ~ Thanks for the feedback! Thought I would add a Randall to my EDC.. That non-catalog knife seems to be highly suitable for my needs.. :cool:

I love my 10-3 ive had it about 2 years now. If I remember correctly it only took about 8 weeks to deliver as special ordered with intials etched and rosewood handle. I wear it every day. if You want a 15 go ahead but dont pass on the 10-3 You can never have to many Randall Knives. I have 4 and will buy more as money allows
 
Valerie at the Randall shop says about 10 weeks after you order and then postal time by Express Mail to Malaysia.
