I know that Bill Bagwell was one of the four that originated the ABS, but it does not seem that he is a Mastersmith. Is this correct? If so, anybody have any idea why?

Edited to add:

Does anybody have contact info for Bill? I can't seem to find an email address or phone number anywhere. Thanks.

Edited to correct a typo.

I don't know the details, but I think there was some kind of disagreement with the ABS at some point, and that he's estranged from the organization now.

Hi, Keith.
Yes, from what I understand, he was, at one time, a M.S. He returned his stamp to the ABS. I have been told that he is in South Texas, close to Louisiana. As far as contact information...unfortunately, I can't help you there. I'll keep looking.

Thanks! From the information that I have he was awarded his MS in 1981 by Deborah Harry (Blondie). That is an interesting story in itself I would bet.

Amy, I really appreciate your efforts on my behalf. I had no idea he would be such a hard person to get in touch with.

Keith,

These numbers were posted awhile ago: Phone # (318) 878-8435 or (903) 926-7208

I did reach Bill and ordered a Helles Belles for delivery next year. I tried to reach him again and left messages with no respone. I figured I'd order a Bowie to go with the fighter. Thanks for reminding me to try again.;)
