Back when I first posted the "before" pics of the Imacasa Burriquito, mneedham asked me if they made it with a wooden grip. They don't, but I do! 
Scales are marine-grade teak. I'm still in the beginning stages--you see these in dry fit right now. There's lots of shaping to be done before I glue them down and trim the pins. By the time I'm done with it it should be one heck of a woods terror! It may be short, but the obscenely broad blade makes it hit hard! After modification this ought to be a fine and packable choice for use on everything from grasses to small trees.
