NORMALIZED 4 TIMES

ROUGH GROUND AT 50 GRIT TO REMOVE THE SCALE

INTO THE QUENCH AND OUT

INTO HEAT TREAT TO TEMPER FOR 2HRS,1 HR EACH TIME

OUT OF HEAT TREAT AND GROUND UP TO A 800 GRIT FINNISH

I FINNISHED THIS ONE UP,800 GRIT BELT FINNISH,THUMB NOTCHING,MOSAICS AND LANYARD,WITH TOOLED LEATHER SHEATH,THE SCALES ARE NATURAL FLAMING BOX ELDER BURL,WITH A HINT OF WHITE TIPS AND SOME SMALL BARK INCLUSIONS,BUT THATS WHAT MOTHER NATURE GAVE ME TO USE,TURNED OUT NICELY,ASWELL ITS RAZOR SHARP AS ALWAYS,INJOY BILL

Bill, just got my mail confirmation this morning, the package is on it's way . . . .
Now all I have to do is wait for Ginger (mail lady) to play Santa tomorrow morning when she gets here. That knife looks fantastic & the elder was a great second choice. I had intended to use this camping & in the outdoors this summer, but now from the way it looks, maybe you have created one more safe queen model . . . man, the choices we have to make. I am not the type who buys things to keep, but rather to use. This just might be the start of my "collecting" phase in life . . . .

Ha-ha, thanks ONeill. Not laughing at you, but being 50+ yrs. old & only one week of conversing with Bill on this knife, I now know what those bold words mean . . . .
Who says someone over 50 can't learn new things. . . . :thumbup:
