Mrs. S, I would like to express my gratitude for all your efforts!! This is a very busy time of the year for all families, with all the holidays. I'm sure it is no different for you! I hope you still have most of your hair! Also at this time, I was hoping to get your paypal address so that those who wish to send a dollar or two may do so. Just a small collective Rat Pack way to say:

Thanks for closing this thread, Tony. We're not going to take up any collection for Mrs. S. We appreciate the offer (as I'm sure Katie does) but it's not the way RAT works. Katie will agree with us on that. This does not mean we are not charitable, but charity does not fit in this circumstance. if someone wants to do something for Katie, then do it direct and discreet (the way gift giving should be) and not through RAT. Hope I don't sound like an asshole. ;)

While I truly do appreciate your generosity, it really is not necessary. I get great satisfaction seeing how excited each of you is about getting your knife and look forward to all of your pictures, stories and posts. I have enjoyed getting to know each of you and feel blessed for the HUGE addition to our family.

Jeff asshole is far from how I would describe you. I feel honored and privileged to have been able to be an extension of RAT Cutlery.
