"The Manufacture and Uses of Abrasive Materials: A Concise Treatment of the Nature and Preparation of Raw Materials, and the Manufacture of Abrasive Blocks, Wheels, Papers, Cloths, Polishes, Etc. With Notes on the Characteristics, Selection, and Testing of Abrasives, and Many Examples from Practice". The information is surely a bit dated, mostly due to advances in technology, but the level of detail and digestibility are excellent.
