A Rats Dream

I saw this video several months back, these people really are "off the grid" in every way, shape, and form. It's great to see a couple out there making it on their own, doing things the way they want to do them.
 
Just watched it and WOW! What a great guy. That crew that visited were treated to a once in a lifetime adventure. Really amazing is all I can say. Thanks so much for sharing.
 
They are beyond "off grid" they are one of the last remaining LEGAL families that can live, hunt and trap in Alaska's ANWAR
 
I sat down and was only going to watch the first couple minutes to see what it was all about, and i got sucked in! i had to finish watching it. that was great. thanks for sharing.
 
Listening to it now, watch it more in depth tonight. Freakin’ amazing. You have to be hardcore to live like that.
 
This guy is my freakin' hero! I would love to live his life. It would be interesting to see if I have what it takes to make a life above the Arctic Circle. Definitely a lot of work. But if you love your work then its a pleasure to get up every morning. Or so I would imagine:rolleyes:

Un-effing-believable. This guy (and his wife) are truly amazing. I can state quite honestly that I couldn't last a week in that environment. My hat is off to this legend!
