A few weeks ago, I posted here about receiving my first user Becker from Dex. He pointed out to me that the parkerizing didn't take like he had wanted but that he was going to send me the knife anyway AND when he fixed the parkerizing issue, he would send me another knife. Well, I told him that I liked the knife and not to worry about it. I used the knife a few times over that time and really forgot about anything Dex told me.

Out of the blue, I received an email from Dex saying that the new knife was finished, that he was proud of the way the new one had turned out and that he was sending it to me. Unheard of customer service for sure!

Well, I received the new knife yesterday and wow. It is awesome!

I switched out the handles and hardware and shipped the now used and "horrible looking" back to him in a pre-paid USPS Priority Mail envelope.

What a seriously great stand-up guy! DO NOT HESITATE TO DO BUSINESS WITH DEX.

Very nice man. Dex is one of the good guys for sure.

Pure integrity.
Dex is solid. Great guy to deal with!
That parkerizing is sweet!

Glad you had a good experience. Congrats.

The 2nd blade looks nice.

Way back when he first mentioned that he was going to send me another knife with better parkerizing, I told him not to bother because I liked the used, worn look. I'm glad that he didn't listen to me because wow, that new knife is hella-sweet. Dex fixed it so right that there was no way that I couldn't do the swap!

Dex for Pres.!!! :D

I've made a couple of purchases from Dex and have been more than impressed with the way he does business. Great guy Great product and Great service = WINNING all day long.

Yeah, Dex is a good dude for certain. He's really picky about, well pretty much everything, so when you order a knife from him you can be sure it's a prime example. Also, he brought several of the knives he parkerized to the Gathering last weekend, and he's really got the process nailed down now.

Based upon my impressions of Dex I am not the least bit surprised by the facts you shared about dealing with him. He's one of the good ones, one of the very good ones!

Can't agree more with all the above. I did a little business with Dex this weekend and man, I'm in love with this wharncliff 9! My wife knew it and she's a hagglemaniac. Sorry about that Dex! Thanks for the hookup! Also picked up a 5 for my daughter and he threw in some scales and hardware....class act! Never heard or seen anything about his leatherwork till the gathering and its soooo nice.

The little smudge is from chopping a few weeds, didnt realize it was there until I saw the pics. I assure you the parkerizing is flawless!

Hey Wacbzz, So glad you like the new blade. I am happy I was able to get it done up right for you. That last blade was not something I was proud of for sure. lol
Parkerizing sure has kicked my butt but I think I finally have it down. :D

Thank you all for the Kind words.

NC............... That nine is killer. I am happy you like it. I have one of my own like that, not as nice though, and I really do think the design works great. One of my favorite mods that I have done for sure.

And y'all can keep the park finish looking good by just wiping it down with some mineral oil after you use it. It should restore the black color. Especially after chopping. Seems the wood absorbs some of the surface oils and it will look kinda grey. The oil blackens it right back up.

Dex,

The fact that you stuck with the bluing thing and persevered the trials of nailing it says much about you - almost as much as your candor in admitting that initial results weren't to your high expectations and that you would make right, check that - make better your transactions. Very nicely done, Sir.
