Well we finally got some warmer weather it got into the 40's here in Western New York state. So I took advantage of it. I got out for some fresh air and sunshine. I was looking for grouse , did not see any but had a real nice time. This is only my second time at this place Carlton Hill and I am finding all kind of neat things. I hope you enjoy the shots. Doug

Thanks all for the comments. I forgot that the gun is an old Mossberg 16 GA shotgun 3 shot bolt action with poly-choke .

Good pictures Doug. We were thinking alike today, I went for a hike in the good weather as well! Didn't take a gun along with me today, though, although I saw a bunch of squirrels, rabbits, pheasants, and other game. Hope you have better hunting next time!

Looks like a great day. Thanks for the pics.

I like the Sharpfinger. Great small game dresser.

Great stuff Doug.. Love the handles on that campmaster... My campmaster still has one of the most comfy grips I've used.

brians I remember a bunch of people that had them when I was younger and they loved them. Johng and rescueriley The wood on the Camp Master is Bocote, I bought it because I wanted those knots and just for that knife design. Thanks much for the compliments guys. Doug

Great pics. thanks for sharing. Reminds me that I really need to get my fat *** back outside.

The Camp Master is hand made by me, it is 1/8" 1095 with a 10degree scandi grind. It is edge quenched and triple tempered. The cutting edge is 4 & 3/8 and 9" overall. The blade is 1 & 1/4" wide at the widest point. This one works very well and like I said in another post I got that wood with this knife in mind. Doug

A few more shots of the Camp Master
