I fell upon this beauty by accident and I really don't remember what I was searching for on the internet at the time but needless to say, something about knives. I was not familiar with the Bear Ops brand and stumbled across this beauty. I loved reading about the company history,
family owned and all USA made products in Tennessee. The handle I selected is real bone and
upon close examination you can see the grain in it. I like the black Semi-Tanto blade that
contrasts nicely with the white bone handles. The blade composition is 14C28N and I had
to research that and it got good overall marks considering the minor use it will get from me.
The spring action upon opening is lightening fast but I'm sure that is not too unusual in a quality knife.
It listed at $222.00 but was on sale for $146.95

so I couldn't resist. The edge was very sharp but I made a few passes on the ceramic rod of the Ken Onion sharpener and now, I am sure I could shave with it but will probably stay with Gillette (ha ha) For some unknown reason the image I included is not working but here is their web and an image. https://www.knifecenter.com/item/BC...mooth-white-bone-handles-w-black-g10-bolsters

Very nice, good luck with it.

I've been looking at their bold action autos for awhile now, just haven't gotten one yet.
I like the smaller version of yours with the drop point blade.

There's a video floating around YouTube where the owner gives a company history and a short factory tour.
