I have been coming to this forum for the past six years and never clicked on this site. What a mistake, I have missed some beautiful knives that are not posted anywhere else!
Here is a knife I just completed to hopefully fit in with a re-enactor. I don't know if the knife is "period correct" but I tried to make it look like it was forged by the village smith a couple of hundred years ago.
Your comments are welcome especially what I can do to make knives like this more period correct.

5160 steel, the fixtures are forged from an old wagon tire, stag handle, total length is about 13 inches. The scabbard is
from vegetable tanned leather designed to be worn under the belt with the spoon handle outside the belt. Make sure you post your knife when it is done
