Hey Guys,
I recently found out that a spouse can dissappear with the child, stay gone for ten or so years, then show up out of nowhere and get all the child support due from the time of the dissappearance. Long story short I may lose it all...... I go tomorrow to find out if I get to keep anything at all. One cannot be a "nice guy" anymore without being taken advantage of, I could have done so much back then that I cannot do now.

Everyone, I need all the good vibes I can get tomorrow, I dearly want to continue to do what I love and it would literally break my heart to see it all taken away becuase of a greedy person. I am going to fight the good fight and hope to keep my business and it will be good to know y'all are behind me. I know I am basially up the creek, but I do want to come out of this with most everything in tact. And I have whats pictured in my avatar, and I will do anything to keep her life from becoming difficult, and I mean anything...
 
Good Luck Leatherman I have been there & its hard put your faith in the big guy upstairs & everything will turn out right.

That is SO friggin unfair!:mad: I am really sorry to hear this and I wish you all the best of luck tomorrow.

I have seen friends travel that road, and wind up wiser for the wear and others have been broken by the journey. It is hard fight and a long road, but with support from friends may you stay strong and get through unscathed. I wish you the very best of luck and may the good lord shine his grace on you in your time of need.

Good luck buddy! We're rooting for you. I cannot imagine what it must be like and I don't ever want to be there myself. No one should. Keep your focus on your daughter and take the high road. There's more than enough mud for all. We want Dwayne to be doing what he does best and singing a happy tune!

Dwayne, I can't imagine how she could get away with that... though I fear the laws tend to favor those who complain the most. I do believe that honor will triumph and I know you are a man of honor. There are far too many people in this world who take advantage of others. My thoughts and hope are with you brother!
 
Hey Dwayne, keep your head up, try to be kind and gentle through this hardship. As far as the business goes they might want your leather but there will always be cows snakes and rays, you are a professional and the core of your business, no one can take that.

I feel like I can speak for everyone here when I say that we aren't going to let anybody over there go hungry. :) Don't be afraid to let us know what you need. Best wishes to you all during this difficult time.
 
Thanks guys, the show of support here is plenty enough to lift my spirits. Its just a matter of time and patience, I appreciate these words more than you will ever know, thanks. It feels good to know that people are behind me and I am not alone.

Hoss, I am a 12 year survivor of a lousy divorce and a worse period since.... I woulda been out by now!! Just kidding about that last part... ;) You WILL endure, it might not be easy at times but you will come through it and will be remembered for how you keep true during the struggle. I slept in my truck at work at times to save gas to hold onto the family home- just hoping I would have another family some day and now I do- we are going to Disney World this weekend to celebrate surviving life.
Hold tight and better times will come. Prayers are outgoing.
