Jackknife: Have been reading your posts for a long time. Any chance we could see some pics of the knives you write about? Your Wenger SI, the little Buck stockman, your soddies? Your Dad`s old peanut? Maybe your blackthorn stick?

+1
I never thought of that, but it would be great so see some of them.

I believe you've had this request before Jackknife...But I'm with these guys lol It'd be nice to see some of the knives we've all read about.:D

I have pictures in my mind from Jackknife's many fine stories. I think my favorite mental image of all has to be Mr Van's BSA Martini on the gun range. The one that smoked the cherry on the burning cigarette.

In a way, it leaves more to the IMAGINATION not to see pix of these things.
They have taken on a mystery&mythology through his writings and that's excellent!

Yeah, I have to get a camera soon. I promise I'll work on it.

Jackknife you know you can buy a disposable digital camera in the drugstore for just a bit of money. Its the price of celebrity man. The thing will come with a software and instructions, you point and shoot and upload. I think once you got the hang of it, you would be off to the races. Then all our empty miserable lives would be that much better:o

Another option is to just get a regular disposable camera, and when you get it developed, you can have the pictures put on a CD. Take the CD home, download the pictures to your computer, then upload them to photobucket.

P.S. Jackknife, if you ever do decide to post pictures, but you need help, feel free to email me, and I would be more than happy to walk you through it step by step. My offer is the same for any other technology help you need. It's the least I can do for all that you have contributed.
P.P.S. I'm patient.
