A Ron Leuschen Bowie

Another great variation on the bowie theme from Ron Leuschen. Ron keeps impressing me more with every knife.

This one is 8" of hand forged and differntialy tempered O-1 steel, copper guard, ivory and white micarta spacers and a burled maple handle. Love it.

A beautiful knife. I love the temper line and that burl handle looks great. I really like copper guards as well.

That blade rocks! i am surprised more maker's don't use the copper, looks really nice and takes a nice patina (no, not when it turns green!). With an 8" blade and nice handle drop, I bet you can generate some serious speed and power. it would be nice if Ron would post some pics of his work over here, I don't always have time to hit CKD as much as I would like.
