Over Halloween I spent some time with friends at a bonfire. One of the familys there has a son in Iraq. Yesterday He was killed in the line of duty. Judy ( mom ) is just devastated and so are we. He was a great guy.

Lt. Justin Smith..U.S. Army..

If you have a flag at home...Fly it at half mast in honor of my friend

Ren

Wow dude. That's harsh. I'll pray for you and them.

That man has given me some of my freedom. God Bless him.

I'm sorry Ren, I dread to hear the local news and think of our good buddy that just went with his unit and won't be back for a year and a half. My heart goes out to you and his family and I feel like my heart just stops when one of our boys is killed. B. Baldwin who is a gunner on a hummer comes back to us. God bless and my flag waves every day. Cindy

That is very sad!! My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to you and your friends.

Ren...I fly the flag everyday and tommorow I will put it at half mast. My cousin is in Iraq with the marines. His father was killed in the WTC on 9/11. Sad day for you and his family.

My wife, kids and I extend our heartfelt condolences to Lt. Smiths family and friends.

Thank you, Lt. Smith, for your ultimate sacrifice to your country.

Ren, this is particularly difficult for me to read, as my Son is in Fallujah right now. Not a day goes by, that I don't break out in sweats worrying about him.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and the young man's family.

Danbo - same for you, too.

My Sister-in-Law is in the PSYOP Task Force, 304th. She's now over there.

Less than two weeks ago, her convoy was ambushed. Fortunately, there were no deaths. She was not injured, but a close friend, a Staff Sargeant, was critically injured. He was flown to Germany, and at last report, was stable.

The 304th has lost 5 since their deployment.

God bless our troops.

Ren, I am sprry as I can be to hear of your friends' loss. I will be holding them and you in the Light.

Prayers for my family and friends will be accompanied by prayers for Danbos son, Cindys nephew, and Rens friend, as well as everyones loved ones over there.

Ren,

That's terrible to hear. I'm sorry for his family's and your loss, as I am for any one of our Heros who have made the ultimate sacrifice for us. I'm adding something extra to our 'Adopt a Sniper' donation package, in memory of
Lt. Smith.

Keith

my prayers are with you and the young mans family--rest in peace Lt. Smith

My prayers are going out for the young officer and his family.

As well as Danbo's son: may he come home safely.

And for all the servicemen and women.
