A SAR 3 sheath question

Looking at a Spec Ops sheath for a SAR 3. Their COMBAT MASTER MINI http://www.specopsbrand.com/knife-sheaths/combat-master-mini.html#product-tabs

The specs say it will fit up to a 4" knife but the reviews say that it can easily carry a bigger knife. My question then is - will it overwhelm the 3-1/4" Sar 3?

Anyone know the answer for this or a similar sized blade?

Otherwise, could you please suggest another option for a well made ballistic nylon sheath? I don't know of any custom makers.

Would be happy to buy a used one in good shape if anyone has such a thing (and a SAR 3 too.) OR a nice leather sheath - have seen some beauties but not when I needed one.

Chad Pirtle made an excellent SAR3 pocket sheath for me, enabling me to use it for EDC. Might want to check him out.
 
Thanks for the PIRTLE recommendation. I found his web site and this is an option certainly worth consideration. I'll send him an email. I still favor a cordura - nylon sheath but I don't need all the extras that usually come with those. I just like a simple sheath for a knife that I EDC and woods carry. Thank you, my "intended" Sar 3 will not be a combat blade :rolleyes:.

Anyway - I'd be happy for some direction on a nylon sheath too or feedback on the one I linked too if anyone uses such a thing.
